Ordered a new Nikon lens on Labor Day from Adorama in NYC. I knew it wouldn’t ship until the next business day. Didn’t count, however, on the store being closed for Labor Day and Rosh Hashanah, the holiday/religious observance perfect storm of ever. (I knew B&H was of this persuasion but never bought from Adorama enough to know their belief.)

Anyway, Adorama reopens yesterday and I see the lens shipped promptly yesterday morning UPS 2-day air, just as I’d ordered and paid for. I was hoping it would get here tomorrow (Saturday) but my first foray into tracking revealed delivery on Monday, 9/13. Phooey, sez I.

Got a text from Adorama/UPS overnight last night and now the lens appears to be arriving tonight!

I’m OK with any of the three options, but what’s the Lounge estimate on ACTUAL delivery??
