Growin up , Mom use to get soo pissed at me as there was no way in hell/high water i was gonna sit for hours & help string/break cpl bushels green beans (back when canning was common) & of course i didnt mind eating em though. Strangely now, i find that task sorta relaxing even calming. Throw in big chunk country ham seasoning, chop up a good strong onion, real cornbread (quicky water cornbread is for loosers) & real butter is rhe bomb !
