You absolutely have to go to Britt's donuts...


Britt's is an old style donut shop. They have been there for 70+ years. You definitely have to go there (bring cash, it is cash only).

As for the Fat Pelican, if you like dive bars, it's a must (it's often rated as the best dive bar in NC, and makes some US top 25 lists). The beer is in a walk-in refrigerated trailer. They do have outdoor seating as well.
