If the magic number is 4 , there are two ways to play it

Scenario one- BYU Houston Cincy and UCF as mentioned
Scenario two- may be not as strong initially but more of a long term plan with some semblance of geographical coherency - Houston BYU and two of the following ( Boise, Nevada, Colorado St, San Diego St., Fresno St ).
The second scenario would likely assume WVU isnt there forever and may the best way to survive long term as a Southwest/west /rocky mt conference.
I'd kind of like to see scenario two- think it is better for college football as a whole.
