Considering timezones and geography and media markets, I think these


Should all receive some consideration. Each has pros/cons so you could pick any 4 to fit the go forward strategy. But this is all assuming that WVU stays. If WVU leaves, then the geography options open up significantly.

BYU (easy choice)
Memphis (easy location fit)
Colorado State (easy location fit)
Houston/SMU (need to pick one for politics)
Western Kentucky (location fit)
Cincinnati (location and quality fit)
UAB/Tulane/Southern Miss (to enter SEC territory)
UCF (outside footprint so not ideal, but good to enter FL)
New Mexico (location fit, but maybe too far west for the conference and small population)
