Since there are only 3 conferences in the Alliance, I don't believe

anything has changed for the ACC in terms of its relationship with Notre Dame or its pecking order among the FBS conferences. Given the Big Ten's long history with the Pac-12, the ACC probably should be nervous as a long-tail cat in a room full of rocking chairs because it has the greatest risk of becoming the third wheel within the Alliance. Once the Alliance starts to take action, then people will start to get a better picture on whether the Alliance has any real substance or not. It is worth noting that USC and LSU announced on Twitter 1 day after the Alliance's press conference that they will be playing each other in Las Vegas (Raiders' new stadium) in 2024. Perceptually not a great start for the Alliance.
