I'm addicted. I can't stop reading "Nextdoor" The petty bickering is

annoying sometimes, but it's small price to pay for other gems. Like this one that was posted yesterday evening.....

The spirits in our house have been acting up again, and bothering the kids at bedtime. I thought they took a hike when we got our new dog a few years ago, but I think they’ve since realized he’s harmless. If you have any references to help us with cleansing our home, please share. I think past efforts have not worked. I was told the ghosts just blew out everyone’s candle.

I really thought this was a joke/whimsical way of asking for suggestions on how to get her kids to sleep and not worry about ghosts and monsters. But not I'm not so sure.

It set off a firestorm. Neighbors calling each other nasty names, religious fighting, people arguing the merits of crystals and burning sage, suggestions of firmly telling the ghosts to leave, contact information for "ghost busters" etc.

Not sure if I've been duped, but it is quite entertaining.
