Yeah, things are certainly different these days.


When I was a kid, one season ended and another sport started up. Travel ball was just starting to become a "thing" when I got to high school baseball. It's obvious how playing one sport nearly year-round, and getting intense instruction, has allowed kids to become so much more polished at the Little League level than ever before. It's fun to watch.
