I get that part. I guess I am wonder if schools could "compensate"


the student-athletes by signing them to a NIL contract. Basically, a school pays a student-athlete so it can sell the student-athlete's jersey, speedo, singlet, etc. in stores that are authorized to sell the school's merchandise.

I get that my scenario may not be currently allowed. However, since the only constant in this world is change, then I am assuming NIL is destined for multiple evolutions with schools being allowed to enter into NIL contracts with its student-athletes as a potential future evolution.
