Interesting. I didn't take it as NIL focused at all

My view was that the Alliance was pushing back on the media contracts driving so much change. and with the media driving for more games (which cuts into academic schedules, and increases the odds of injury).

The NIL has some legal backing now so there is no reason for the Alliance to pick that battle.

Always interesting to get different perspectives and see how each of us is interpreting all of the various pieces of information.
