NINGBO port: There’s 1 worker in Ningbo (Meishan terminal) got confirmed case of covid-19. This terminal got closed from Aug 11th and all the vessels have to head to other terminals in Ningbo port, which will cause port congestion and ETA will get longer.
And for all the port of entrance in China, it has to take covid-19 test of all sailers & got environment test, which will take extra 1 day on the basis of ETA.
AIR
PVG, Shanghai Airport: We got informed from PVG airport that all the import inspection will be handled by Customs officials and it will occur surcharge of deconsolidation pallets (No charge standard being published yet). They will take covid-19 test of cargo outer package and get environment test. The whole import customs clearance time will take longer and it will be taken into effective from Aug. 26th.
Besides, we also got information from the airport that they don’t accept loosen loaded cargo and only could accept shipments in pallets. You can double check with Airline at origin.
TAO, Qingdao Airport: All import shipments to TAO airport have stopped since 2 weeks ago, as CA has no direct service to TAO airport.
NKG, Nanjing Airport: NKG airport is closed now and the cargo terminal will do renovation from this month on, maybe will re-open at the end of October
