Doubt the impending announcement tells us much we don't already know. And

WVU decision will probably be unrelated to what happens with the Alliance, and more related to a willingness of ACC schools to associate on that level with WVU, and WVU's ability to bring in enough money to the ACC. Also, probably also related to who else the ACC feels would be worthy of an invite; I doubt we just add one school, probably go to 16. ND not joining for football.
