Why aren't there 13 months?

365 days works out 12 months of 28 days each plus one month with 29 days. Let August keep the extra day, and February catches the leap day every four years. This is a lunar/solar hybrid year.

First day of Spring is March 23, First day of summer is 92 days later, or July 3. First day of Autumn is 93 days later, or October 12, and the first day of Winter is 91 days later, or Undecember 16, if I worked that out right.

Of course, that puts Christmas on Undecember 21, which would be weird. LOL

Hmmm. My birthday (May 26, the 146th day of the year) would be on June 6. THAT would take some getting used to. 😁
