This is happening like this.

Any single military personnel that was in combat with ANA, or even commandos would have told these supposed leaders that this would happen. I would expect that the military did tell them this was a significant possibility beforehand. Completely asinine. Utter lack of leadership. Now, in the rush to stabilize KIA, many more afgans will be killed by the T because no one is watching over them.

If a big cargo plane takes off and then RTB’s shortly after (lands) it means there’s some issue with the aircraft. Happens all of the time.

*** Those videos answered some of the questions I had regarding perimeter security. The Apaches would provide ground cover at the end of the runway and outer perimeter as the C-17s took off above them (I would guess- I’m definitely not a flight line security manager).
