That is a fancy way of saying they aren't following the science ...

and to require masks that aren't effective is completely and totally moronic, especially on kids who are at almost no risk whatsoever. The masks are doing FAR more damage to the kids than COVID could to 99.99% of them. Why are we continuing to let the tail wag the dog?

My position is very simple. Those that feel vulnerable or want to wear a mask are perfectly welcome to do so. Those that don't, especially those that have been fully vaccinated, should not be forced to wear a mask that doesn't work. And there is ZERO chance they can mandate N95 masks for everyone. It is not only impractical but also not enforceable. There would be 'fake' N95 masks all over Amazon within a week.

As I said, mandating masks that don't work and aren't worn properly is no different than requiring paper seat belts IMHO.
