Only mask that truly gives protection. So if we are serious then an NOT must be mandated. As pointed out in the studies, basic cloth masks provide little protection.
I see you take issue with the word "suggests". However the entire CDC recommendations of vaccinated individuals is based on the CDC "estimates" vaccinated people have about the same viral load of unvaccinated.... Again, the CDC literally bases that off of 1 town that had massive indoor parties, many of which included multiple sex partners.
I have no problem with you wearing a respirator all day. Go for it. But there is absolutely no reason why I need to.
User error must be factored in. On all of the tests showing masks stop aerosols, you'll notice it's a perfectly fitted mask that never gets moved or adjusted and is not breathed in for many hours. Now if we assume that everyone wears their mask perfectly and never touches or adjusts or removes it... Then yes, these are good for extrapolation into real world usage. But that's like saying a basketball will go in the hoop every time because it's smaller than the rim.
