scrimmage vs. loyola (md.) i know it's just a scrimmage and the very first "live action" on the season, but i am a little concerned about where our goals are going to come from. we finally broke through with a couple of goals midway in the 2nd period
from producing mayhem in the box. and maybe that's how we'll generate most of our goals. i liked our tempo and our defense. just not sure how the offense will be, i didn't see a stand-out striker today, but we'll see how it goes on thursday vs. richmond in scrimmage #2. it was great to be back in thompson field on a beautiful, warm morning for soccer.

and just looked at the pre-season rankings..5 of the top 10 are ACC----FSU #1, UNC #3, UVa #4, Duke #6, Clemson #7.
