There are already a number of women's programs in the ACC footprint

Adding 5 teams at top universities such as the ACC schools would draw the top talent. wouldn't be hard to create a decent schedule that wouldn't require significant travel so the operational costs shouldn't be that much of a hindrance given the amount of revenue these athletic departments have. Additionally, Women's teams are much smaller so we're not talking about huge scholarship #s either.
