And ESPN can keep Clemson and FSU until 2036 for $30-34M a year each


Why would ESPN pay out roughly $860M over 14 years to the ACC to broadcast Clemson/FSU and then another $800M over that same time to the SEC to just give to Clemson/FSU to be nice guys?

Do you think the lawyers that FSU/Clemson have will be better than the ones that the ACC has? Even Texas and OU are not breaking the GOR, they have announced that they are leaving at the expiration of the GOR, which they have every right to do under the conference bylaws as long as they pay the exit fee.
