Is there there any school out there that could make up the $20M+ (could soon be $50M+) per school payout gap from TV revenue? I don't think there is. Not even ND would do that, especially given the conference already has half their football schedule. I think the writing is on the wall for the ACC and Pac12 (I'm also a UCLA alum so this is double weird for me) now that Texas and Oklahoma are SEC bound.

I wouldn't be surprised if things are snowballing towards B1G and SEC mega-conferences. I could see mega-conferences be set up as 4 divisions of 6 or so schools each, where each conference then has its own football playoff, then have the B1G and SEC champs then play for the national championship. There's your 8-team playoff.
