This is my favorite idea regarding realignment. A promotion/relegation

league.

Let the 16-team SEC take 8 teams from the ACC and split into 2 12 team leagues one Premiere League, one Champions League and let the B1G do the same.

The 14-team B1G takes 10 teams from the Pac 12 and Big 12 and splits into 2 leagues.

The relegated league's teams play to finish in the top 2 and get promoted to the Premiere League but don't play a post season.

The B1G and SEC Premiere League's 2 best teams play in a championship game and then the winners play in a Super Bowl type game.

There would be so much more intrigue in the games.
