Why? do NAVY bring more money

Every option cannot be based on personal like, patriotism, fan base. For an conference its all about bringing in more revenue from TV rights. Its not charity anymore.

and for the ACC, like any conference, to get a 1 million dollar jump, they have to find a school that can produce 15 million more in media rights. (equating to 1 million per school.)

the academies do not do that.
