It is hard to know exactly,


All of these institutions only publish the financials that they must leaving a lot behind closed doors. WVU presently makes more money than any team in the ACC or Pac-12. A lot of that comes from the Big-12 media deal but WVU has a substantial 15 million dollar tier 3 rights package as well. That is on their merit so they are worth something even without a TV deal.

As for adding to the ACC, WVU would be in the top 5 annually and sometimes top 3 in attendance for football, not too shabby. They draw good TV numbers and travel well. The brand is the number 16 seller through 2019. WVU does not have to be the best school in the ACC to add to the whole, they just have to be better than the average. Is WVU better than BC, Syracuse or Pitt? If you think so, then they add.
