Somewhere along the line it changed back. Probably when the schools


realized the big money involved and how it helped in recruiting. The NCAA reverted back to special treatment, for lack of a better term.

Tech got around it on Cochrane by allowing other students to live there. That was basically what every school was doing, so I guess collectively the NCAA just threw up their hands and said have had it, do what you want.

It all just boils down to the fact that they're not student athletes anymore. They're athlete students.
