Interesting WLAX Transfer...
Tech landed Florida transfer Hannah Mardiney (5'3" Attacker). It looks like she has 2 years of eligibility remaining (going by the extra year of eligibility due to Covid). Mardiney hasn't had the career at Florida that she or that program expected, only scoring 12 goals and starting only 11 games in her 2.5 years at Florida. Hopefully the change in scenery will bring out Mardiney's potential. She was the 2018 USA Today National Player of the Year. Mardiney was ranked the #1 Attacker and the #3 overall player in the 2018 class according to Inside Lacrosse. She was also the 2018 Baltimore Sun Player of The Year. Hannah Mardiney is from Lutherville, Maryland and played her high school lacrosse at Notre Dame Prep. Hopefully Kristen Skiera can get her to reach her full potential at Tech. I haven't researched Mardiney's medical history to see if she was slowed down by any injuries while at Florida.
