I also have noticed that there are far far more college pitchers drafted than high school pitchers. Obviously there are exceptions. Jackson Jobe was selected third because he is viewed by some as a once in a decade talent. However there are so many question marks with high school pitchers including prospects for injury. Why not go to college for three years and enjoy the experience with college life and great coaches. If you are really good you will likely will get drafted higher next time around.
