There are just so many.

factors that it is easy to get distracted. The team, their minor league operation, all the other picks and guys already in the pipeline to name just a few on the pro side. Also a variety of factors on school with most obvious being the scholarship equivalency offer. That is even before talking about recent and looming changes in both minor leagues and college. My gut, no factual evidence researched, tells me college, more often than not, results in improved draft standing for all but the cream of the crop.
