Congratulations to Emma Lemley, 1st Team High School All-American
Extra Innings Softball has started naming their 2021 High School All-American Team and Emma has been named one of the 1st team pitchers.
Per the web site, “ Those chosen as All-Americans…have been selected based on the following factors:
*accomplishments, stats and honors
*importance in the success of the team
*on-field abilities, skills & talent
*off-the-field resume, i.e. academic success, community involvement, etc.”
About Emma, they said “Emma is another flame-throwing pitcher who has been clocked as high as 68 mph and gets results. As a senior, she went 11-4 with a 0.29 ERA and had 243 K’s versus just four walks in 97 innings to give her a 0.27 WHIP. Emma had three perfect games, six one-hitters and three 20 strikeout games. In one five-inning win she had a “perfect perfect” game as she struck out all 15 batters.”
