He definitely has a lot of versatility, and has the capability to really help us. Would love to have him back as he is a cool and valuable presence on the field and a good high level college pitcher. Have to keep in mind he was a 4th year college guy this past year, and he did start several games for us, as well as the past two years at the Citadel (well really the last season and a half there). So he has shown his entire arsenal for the most part. He could go a little higher next year and still not get much more money. And I don't know if he has the high end stuff that will move him up much higher, and if that is the case (he has graduated), he may wish to move on. Will be interesting to see how he does at the pro level. Having said all of that, we were really fortunate that we landed him last summer. We would have struggled without his services this year. Will try to find out in the next several days. They have until August 1 to make final decisions.......
