BTW, 2022 recruit Payton List's team won the PA State title yesterday

Payton pitched the entire 9 innings and scored the deciding run in the 9th on a heads up play on the bases.

And talk about a season to remember!!! Here are Payton's numbers for the year:

Payton was 20-0 with "an ERA of 0.64 and struck out 233 batters in 120 innings. She was also no slouch at the plate, hitting .409 with five home runs and 23 RBIs."

According to Coach D'Amour, Penn State Coach (and former Hokie) Clarisa Crowell watched the championship game (played at Penn State) and called him afterwards to tell him how impressed she was with Payton.

The future is indeed bright!
