VTSB Alum Carrie Eberle defeated Team USA on Saturday


She was playing with a group of college girls called Team Alliance with the games played in Midland TX. Team Alliance won 4-1 as Eberle pitched all 7 innings, allowing 5 hits and 0 earned runs. I believe the only other time Team USA has lost outside of Olympic competition was to Angela Tincher and the Hokies. Pretty cool connection
