Byes for college football playoffs sound like a really bad idea.

It may work in the NFL, but with the lack of parity in college it just gives another big advantage to a small group of teams that already have huge advantages. It seems like they are expanding from 4 to 12 but stacking the deck against the other 8 that are now being added.
