UGA has the Hope Scholly. Not quite sure how much, but heard it is 80% tuition for instate "B" ave. kids. That leaves enough money to give outside state kids almost full rides. There is always full ride money for the portal. SEC Football money.... GA has highest rate of kids, per capita, populating D-1 Softball rosters, more than any other state, CA is second.. They ave. ( before pandemic ) over 1500 fans per game. Stadium is sate of the art, or close. No excuse not to go to the show every 2-3 years. Lu did, so will will the next coach. Prob, IMHO top 5 jobs in the country. But as Holiday Hokie implies, would you rather coach at UGA for 1.5 Million for 5 years or Here for 1.5 Million for 5 years. I'd stay here, but the checkbook has to open up. Doesn't the baseball coach make 525K?
