Easier to get to regionals, Supers, and WCWS in ACC

FSU has proved it, and the league is getting better. You can finish top 4/5 in ACC year in and year out, or be UGA and finish 6 through 13 in that league (still make regionals) but a whole lot more stress going 6-18 in conference.
