Hear me out = that's not as crazy as it sounds.

There's two options in my mind because you have a game to play with.

I think there are two options here:

1. There's no debate. Pitch Keeley and hopefully end the regional in one game. However,....if by some crazy chance we don’t win that first game, you potentially have a somewhat tired Keeley going in the winner take all game or who pitch one of your freshmen for the first time in the postseason.

2. If you start one of the freshman in game 1, having them on a short leash. If they can buy you three or four or five innings, then bringing Keely to close it out, and you’ve got her fresh(er) for the following game if needed.

Just something fans can debate while we're waiting.

I am crazy enough that I actually asked that question at yesterday‘s post game press conference. I framed the question by saying that it was probably a silly question, but Coach D'Amour humored me with his answer.

Coach Pete‘s response was “ask me in about an hour. I don’t know yet. The thought has crossed my mind, I will tell you that.

"But I wasn’t sitting there this morning saying if we win against Arizona State, who am I going to pitch tomorrow. I was just saying let’s play Arizona State today and we’ll figure it out later. That’s what we do. We don’t look too far ahead."
