the catcher had to shift her body weight to catch the ball so not so easy to whip her arm down for the tag. that is, she needed to bring her balance back and then apply the tag which took way too long.

The ump was OK, some strange low ball calls but you know, got it generally right. loved her slow strike signal: that's a strike, right? right? yes!
