Move him to 3rd and hope for a fly out on the next ball (or a hit) or swing

away and hope that just 1 (at least) of the next 3 batters gets a hit.

So yes, I agree. I don't like the bunt much in that situation. Especially with 3 decent hitters coming up, and knowing that (with our bullpen) it might be nice to play for MORE than 1 run.
