This Morning's Projected RPI Update

Updated after yesterday's results:

I included Strength of Schedule and record vs Top 25

FSU: RPI #8, SOS #32, vs. Top 25 (9-7)
Duke: RPI #14, SOS #41, vs Top 25 (5-8)
Clemson RPI #19, SOS #96, vs Top 25 (4-4)
VT: RPI #20, SOS #22, vs Top 25 (7-5)

IMHO, yesterday's loss totally dashed any hosting hopes for this year. I just don't see 4 teams on the top 20 predetermined sites that would be passed over to select VT as a host.

I also think FSU's loss may have made the committee take a second look at them as a Top 8 seed (and thus Super Regional host). But they've been there aall year so they may be fine.

Playing on the road will not be the worst thing depending on where the NCAA decides to send us. I hear Tennessee is nice this time of year. Hopefully we avoid a Top 8 seed, but you have to eventually beat everyone anyway.

Selection Show is Sunday Night at 9:00.
