Edge I’m gonna bow to your car engine expertise. Do you think the Kirkland

5w-30 is equal to or better than the Mobil One 5w-30 for an Enclave with 125,000 & an Avalon with 99,000 miles? I’ve been going about 5,000 to 7,000 miles on Mobile One between oil changes & using an oil filter supposedly designed specifically for synthetic oil. I’ve no idea if that filter is more expensive or if there’s even a difference between synthetic oil filters & regular oil filters.

Surprisingly, the Enclave only requires 5 quarts of oil & the Avalon holds 6 1/5. I would’ve thought it’d be the other way around. I’m also wondering since the Enclave holds less oil if I should start changing my oil a little sooner in that car? TIA
