Here's the recruiting timeline on Cagle


Cagle committed not long after Pete was hired so he didn't have much time.

She originally committed to Delaware on 12/10/16

Clemson hired John Rittman as head coach on 11/3/17 and one of his assistants was the head coach at Furman, who had been recruiting Cagle.

Pete D'Amour was not hired as the VT coach until 5/31/18 and she committed not long after that.

She has been quoted as saying she decided to go to Clemson because she "wanted to be part of forming a program."

She has certainly done that.
