I swung by the library the other evening to return an overdue book

...in the dropbox attached to the building.

The library was closed. It has a large parking lot that was completely empty except for one car.

There was a guy in his 20s skateboarding, using the parking lot and the plaza area between the parking lot and the building.

He was wearing a mask. He was all by himself, until I drove up there was no human being closer than the street, maybe 200 feet away. And apparently he chose to wear a mask. I don't get it.
