so I'd like to share an example of "good timing".

We've never gone anywhere ever without a car. Based on tips from experienced Key West travelers and the irrefutable @Coach McGuirk , we opted on this trip to not get a rental car. In the center of the KW Historic District, we're at most 10 blocks from anything we want to do or any place we want to eat, and there's not much parking anyway. Can't imagine what gas lines in KW would look like but they're bound to be pure hell.

Hopefully the passing gas (get it?) issue will be history by the time we get back. Maybe the worst that can happen is our return flight won't have enough fuel to bring us home. Damn. That'd be a bum-MER!
