Events that left a lasting impression on you? (inside)
Two events that have stuck with me over the years:
1) Son(~high schooler) was with his dad and a grocery store in the check-out lane. I don't remember what the Son did - maybe put items on the belt wrong or whatever - but the dad just started laying into the son, yelling at him big time. I mean screaming at him - everyone was looking. Son just held his head down the whole time. I just remember thinking it is worth going ballistic over groceries? And great way to build that father/son relationship.
2) PreCOVID - Older lady with advanced Parkinsons eating all by herself in the middle of a restaurant. Balls.
