I think hes a solid possibility...


He helped recruit Lonnie Walker and Chris Lykes to Miami and Nah'Shon Hyland to VCU...hes from Baltimore so it checks the box vacated by Frazier

He is defensive minded as a coach at VCU, but he was the "offensive coordinator" at Miami, so he should be knowledgeable on both sides of the floor.

He is the third assistant so normally you'd think that would lend to him becoming the 3rd assistant at VT, but he played for Mike Rhoades at Randolph-Macon and then Rhoades gave him his coaching start after he was finished. He left Miami to come back and be the 3rd asst at VCU, so Im not sure a 3rd spot will do it...might likely take the top spot, but most certainly the second spot, leap-frogging Giltner
