OMGoodness!...Had a chance to see him in Salem


This was mid 70's He was going to debate Madalyn Murray O'Hair the famous athiest activist who had her own crazy background at the Salem Civic Center. A match made in heav-, er in Salem! Man, I'm sorry I missed that. I think in one of the ads he said he was going to "send that devil directed demon to hell" Good stuff. Could do a pretty good Ernest too: ERnust ANGuh-sleee CRUsaaa(long a's)Duh. Think I know about him through incessant radio ads or something.

I thought he was hilarious, sometimes you need a few crazies around, 99, not bad. (No one wanted him!)

PS I always wondered if Ernest and Madalyn got together afterwards for a beer and had a good laugh about it.
