It was an amazing taste of freedom.
Stayed in Pigeon Forge but went to Gatlinburg on Friday to visit the aquarium. Huge line to get in and very busy inside. Again, very few people wearing a mask in there (or anywhere for that matter) so if that stresses you out, you might want to stay away.
Finding a restaurant for dinner was insane. An hour wait for everything. Tried Old Mill at 7:30 and it was an hour wait list. Tried a few other places but very long waits. Ended up at a Catfish place that only had a 30 min wait.
On Sunday we usually hit up Apple Barn but got there at 10 and they said we wouldn't get in till after 11 and they would be serving lunch by then. Ended up at a pancake place with a 30 min wait.
Oh, and pizza delivery was rough. None of the local places deliver but one used GrubHub. Ordered at 5:30, got it at 7:15.
