Sent a rather sizable check to a government agency via FedEx overnight back in March for a permitting fee, got a call from the agency yesterday "Where's the check for your fees?" Checked the delivery status and it's showing "PENDING DELIVERY" and it's been on a truck in Mechanicsville since the day after I dropped it off in Petersburg.

Called the 800 number and all they wanted to do was credit the shipping charges. No attempt to try to find the damn thing. And "Sorry, sir, we cannot give you a direct number to the shipping location..." Grrrrrrr....

So, hopped in the truck and beelined it up there. Started out very similar to the 800 number, but a manager got involved and did get the truck it was likely on to come back. They searched it but no luck.

So, what are the chances they find it? Also, if you happen to be flying over their shipping warehouse anytime in the near future, can you make a direct delivery to them from 30K feet?
