An upgrade to who?

Fans of a competing school? Im sure it isnt.

To Coach Frazier? Its his alma mater...thats always going to be an upgrade. He chose to play there. Its where it all began for him.

I also have no doubt they pay their assistants more. So thats another reason.

So is it an upgrade to an unbiased observer? A top 10ish team as your alma mater for more money....uh yeah, probably so
