Here's an interesting map regarding the 20 potential hosting sites

Traditionally, the NCCA typically tries to assign team to regions to have as many bus trips as possible to keep expenses down. Per the NCAA manual "In making bracket assignments, the closest geographical consideration will be used as well as the ability to separate conference opponents during regional competition."

Also, per the NCAA manual "If you are within 400 miles from the host site, you will travel via bus."

I would "think" in the year of Covid,that would be even more true, but I don't know.

Perhaps VT's geographic location might help them in the process. As I said, I simply don't know.

Isn't it nice that we're even having this discussion?
