Alum, boosters and sponsors paying the bulk. Her compensation doesn't impact academics dept. State money and taxpayers pay the professors, not the coaches. Mulkey is a high profile, huge fundraising machine. She raised more money for Baylor's Athletic Dept than any of their coaches. LSU Athletics Dept will quickly get their money back from Mulkey's fundraising and bringing WBB to glory again. She is a huge name brand and proven success from LA Tech to olympics to Baylor, now at LSU. She has already sold 3K wbb season tickets this week alone. They will sell out every year. People who are not LSU alum have bought season tickets.
